I went on a scale for the first time last week. I have officially gained four and a half pounds so far. I looked at that scale feeling completely excited about it. My metabolism is not beating me this time. I have beaten it and I'm letting the weight gain naturally. Metabolism has been a pain in the butt when it comes to gaining weight. Now the tables have turned.
Aside from stuffing my face, I've decided to take it to the next level. It's about to be a week and a half. I made a promise to start working out. I don't want to just stuff my face. If I just stuff my face and I am not working out the rest of my body is going to look like pancakes.
I have scheduled swimming lessons for the following week and a half. Since I am interested in working out I felt like what better way to workout than to workout the entire body. That's where swimming comes in. It's my favorite sport and I couldn't help but pick it first.
So the following week and a half, I am still going to stuff my face, but I am going to tighten the muscles as well. The challenge is incredibly awesome. I wish I can go further, but I chose not to. I always said that when it comes to body image I want to be between abs and a flat stomach.
