Horse Urinates Inches From Me
One of my favorite things to do is to walk around Royal Street every weekend in New Orleans. That's one of my techniques to staying fit. I am not someone who faces the pressures of staying fit and keeping my muscles the way it is. I believe it all starts with inner confidence. But I stay fit in many ways. Riding a bike and walking is good enough for me.
I was heading up Royal Street, trying to get the center of the city as fast as I could. The street has less traffic and more tourists wandering around. The only thing that bugs me is that people walk incredibly slow. I shouldn't blame them because I walk fast. I adapted the New York City walk.
While heading over there, I happened to cross pass a carriage that was seemingly taking a break. There were tourists ready to be sent around the city, but the driver decided to give the horse a second to rest. It was breathing real hard and was drinking water like it was the last drink it was ever going to have.
There were a few moments when I wanted to touch the horse. I looked into it's eyes and saw kindness in it. The horse looked at me and wanted to lick me in the face. I backed away before I could let it happen. I was in a hurry and I didn't allow anything to lick me in the face ever since my dog's saliva made me break out.
The second I started walking away, the horse decided to urinate on the street, a few inches away from me. If I didn't move away, I'm sure I would've gotten hit. I was so shocked at what happened. I know that when you got to go, you got to go, but not when people are a few inches away from you. I walked away as fast as I could. I love that horse, but that was a close call.
